Dr. Green Fareed’s expertise is in human and organizational development in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Her practice, passion and research focus is in the areas of multicultural women’s leadership development, coaching and organizational development.
Her work has been featured in coaching publications, conferences on women’s development and in a 2009 text on adult learning. In addition to her coaching and consulting work, Dr. Green Fareed teaches graduate level courses in Evidence-based coaching and co-designed cultural competency training programs for coaches.
Charlyn approaches her life, as well as her work from a perspective of equity and inclusion. This approach challenges individuals and organizations to build diverse and inclusive work environments that expand personal, interpersonal, and organizational effectiveness. She is a lifelong learner who strives to remain open to better understanding self and others.
Dr. Green Fareed holds a doctorate in Human & Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University. She completed a master’s level coaching program in Evidence Based Coaching at Fielding Graduate University and Board Certified Coach-Career Development Specialty (BCC) at the Center for Credentialing & Education. Charlyn is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and holds certifications in: Dialogue, Deliberation & Civic Engagement, Transformative Learning for Social Justice, Diversity Program Development & Facilitation, Mediation, Race Relations & Group Facilitation, Management & Employee Development and Points of You Personal & Professional Development Tools. She received training in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, DISC Management Assessments, and Holland Self-Directed Search Career Assessments.
