- 60 or 125 hours of coach-specific training (includes independent study hours)
- 10 hours of mentor coaching with written feedback
- Performance evaluation
Note: Students who complete our 60-hour program meet the training hours necessary to apply for an Associate Coach Credential (ACC) through the International Coach Federation. Students who complete our 125-hour program meet the training hours necessary to apply for Professional Coach Credential (PCC) through the International Coach Federation.
International Coach Federation Credentialing
Because the Academy of Creative Coaching certification program is approved by the International Coach Federation (IFC), our graduates may apply for an ICF credential after receiving coach-specific training. To do so, coaches must log at least 100 hours of professional client coaching experience for the ACC credential or 500 hours of professional client coaching experience for the PCC credential. Our graduates are encouraged to become members of the ICF once they have received at least 60 hours of coach-specific training. Some benefits of membership include opportunities to: participate in local chapters, build leadership skills, attend conferences worldwide, participate in the coach referral service, apply for an ICF credential, and participate in the ICF Career Centre.
Credentialing Levels
There are three levels of ICF credentialing: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Master Certified Coach (MCC). These levels are determined by the documented number of coaching experience hours and the number of hours of training received. Graduates of the Academy of Creative Coaching may apply for an ICF individual credential after they have documented at least 100 hours of paid coaching experience. All other requirements are fulfilled through the completion of our program. The following are the requirements for each level of credentialing.
